Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026
Between: you, and InertiaBreak Labs, an independent developer in the Philippines ("we", "us"). Contact: support-snoozenix@inertiabreak.com.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the Snoozenix app on Android and iPhone, the Snoozenix website, and Snoozenix Pro. By installing or using Snoozenix you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Snoozenix is

Snoozenix is an alarm clock. The alarm is turned off by finishing a short mission: a math round, typing a phrase, squats, a photo of a spot you chose, scanning a QR code, steps, shaking the phone, a memory game, a word scramble, ordering numbers, or tapping back a rhythm. It is a wake-up tool, not a medical device, a fitness programme or a safety system (see section 8). It needs iOS 26 or later on iPhone and Android 12 or later on Android.

3. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use Snoozenix on devices you own or control, for your own use, under these terms and the rules of the store you got it from. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

4. Age

Snoozenix is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, which is the age of majority in the Philippines, use Snoozenix with a parent's or guardian's permission. Pro is bought through your Google or Apple account, and the store's rules on purchases by minors apply.

5. Free and Pro

The free version includes 1 alarm a day, the Math and Type a phrase missions, streaks, the wake-up check, the test alarm and the emergency stop. It needs no card and no trial.

Snoozenix Pro adds unlimited alarms and all 11 missions, including Squats, Photo of a spot, Scan a code, Steps, Shake, Memory, Word scramble, Order the numbers and Repeat the rhythm, plus two missions back to back, streak freezes and full history. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold only through Google Play or the App Store.

If your Pro subscription ends, your alarms keep ringing. Alarms set to Pro-only missions switch to the Math mission.

6. Pro subscription, trial, renewal, cancellation and refunds

  • Plans and price. Pro comes in two plans: ₱999 per year or ₱549 every 6 months. There is no monthly plan. The price is shown in the app before you tap anything; outside the Philippines the store shows the equivalent in your local currency.
  • Free trial. New subscribers get 3 days of full Pro free. You confirm with your store payment method when the trial starts, and nothing is charged during the 3 days. Free for 3 days, then ₱999 a year or ₱549 every 6 months, whichever plan you chose. Pro renews every year or every 6 months at that price until you cancel in Google Play or the App Store. Cancel during the 3 free days and you pay nothing (on iPhone, at least a day before they end). The trial is offered once per Google or Apple account, whichever plan you pick. We do not send a reminder before the first charge; the date is on the Pro screen and in your store's subscription settings.
  • Renewal. The store charges your account for each new period unless you cancel before the renewal date. On iPhone, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time in Google Play, Subscriptions (Android) or iPhone Settings, Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Refunds. Payments are taken by Google or Apple, so refunds follow their rules: Google Play at https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637 and Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
  • Restoring. On a new phone, Restore purchases in the app brings Pro back on the same Google or Apple account. Pro stays with the store you bought it on and does not transfer between Android and iPhone.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, the store will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel.

7. How the alarm stops

On Android, the alarm stops when you finish the mission, or when you use Emergency stop. The first Emergency stop in a week runs one very easy task that you choose and agree to when you set the alarm: one easy sum, tapping 1-2-3, picking what year it is, or holding a button for 10 seconds (the default). Every further Emergency stop in the same week is a 60-second hold instead. Both take no internet, no Pro and no typing, work the same on Free and Pro, and are never blocked; you can change the quick task in Settings. On iPhone, the ringing screen is Apple's own alarm alert. It always has a Stop button, and tapping it once stops the alarm with no mission. Emergency stop and Stop are built to always work. Using them resets your streak and nothing else.

8. No guarantee the alarm rings, and safety

Snoozenix is built to ring on time, and it includes a test alarm. Even so, your phone's settings, battery features, a phone update, a phone maker's own power manager, Do Not Disturb or Focus settings, a denied permission, a crash, or the phone being off can stop an alarm from ringing or from showing the mission. Do not rely on Snoozenix alone for anything where oversleeping would cause harm or loss, such as a flight, an exam or medication. Set a second alarm for those.

Missions that involve moving (squats, steps, shaking) are optional. Stand on a clear floor, go at your own pace, and pick a non-physical mission if you cannot or should not exercise, or if a doctor has told you to avoid it. Snoozenix is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Stop a mission at once if you feel unwell; Emergency stop is always on screen, and on iPhone Apple's Stop is one tap.

9. Your data

Snoozenix keeps your data on your phone and does not collect it. See the Privacy Policy at /privacy. Deleting the app deletes your alarms, streaks and settings, and we cannot restore them.

10. Changes to the app and these terms

We may change, add or remove features, and may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms. We may stop offering Snoozenix or Pro; if we do, paid time already bought is handled by the store's refund rules.

11. Warranty and liability

Snoozenix is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any alarm will ring or any mission will be recognised. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss caused by a missed or late alarm, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines, the Civil Code or other laws that cannot be waived, including liability for fraud, for gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Apple: additional terms for the App Store version

These apply if you got Snoozenix from the App Store:

  1. These terms are between you and InertiaBreak Labs only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  2. Your licence is limited to a non-transferable licence to use Snoozenix on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  3. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any support for the app.
  4. We are solely responsible for any product warranty. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
  5. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  6. If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  7. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Our name and contact details for complaints or claims are at the top of these terms.
  9. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app, for example your mobile data agreement.
  10. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

13. Google: additional terms for the Google Play version

If you got Snoozenix from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and purchase (https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/). Where those terms and these conflict about the purchase or refund, Google's terms govern the purchase.

14. Intellectual property

Snoozenix, its name, logo, design and code, and the InertiaBreak Labs name, belong to InertiaBreak Labs. You get the licence in section 3 and nothing more. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple, iPhone and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If we have a dispute, write to support-snoozenix@inertiabreak.com first and we will try to settle it within 30 days. Otherwise the proper courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a consumer claim in your own courts.
